Nonno Zito wines are the intersection of my passion and
my dream. Every drop proudly honors my paternal
grandfather Calogero Zito, a native of Ribera, Sicily.
When he, at the turn of last century, bravely immigrated
with his wife Giovanna to this new world of America, he
confronted the unknown to create a better and larger
life. Because of his decision, I am here to enjoy and
explore a grand existence I would have never known
without him.
And
to visionary winemaker Jim Clendenen of Au Bon Climat, I
offer warm thanks for wisdom and guidance. Nonno Zito
wines would not be possible without his insightful and
generous collaboration.
